A Smaller Amount of Bruising and Bleeding
Laser Lipolysis (another name for smart lipo) uses a laser instrument and the force of the surgical laser is what melts the fatty tissue away. It destroys fat cells - permanently in fact. This process is very different to liposuction where the process is more physical, involving suction. So the process is much more traumatic and results in more bleeding and injury than you would see with smartlipo.

Liposuction generally requires at least an overnight bed stay in hospital. And then it can take weeks for the body to adapt to the operation.
